The Company TUFANLAR Tekstil Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited
Şirketi (Tufanlar Textiles, Tourism, Industry and Commerce) was set
up in 1985 in Kalkan with the cooperation of two entrepreneurs.

One of the partners, Cemil Tufan, is a teacher who has studied the
Turkish Language, Turkish Culture and Literature. Halil Tufan, the
other partner, is a tailor. He has been trained in the discipline of
Master Apprentice, a continuation of the "Lonca" (which is a guild
of artisans and merchant of the Ottoman Period) tradition. |
